Peter RussellRenaissance man; Peter has worked professionally in most areas of the entertainment industry from director to driver, producer to props, composer to caterer, vocal to voice-over, star to stand-in for Steve Martin, David Bowie, Robert Deniro & others.

Born into a theatrical family in Hertfordshire, England. Mother; drama teacher/ choreographer (Victoria Beckham) father; painter (Victor Askew) tailor (Harrods) brother musician / songwriter (Suzi Quatro, Nazareth, Wishbone Ash) then European director of artist relations at Fender and Gibson.

Peter moves to Los Angeles 1987. Pursues investment for films while building a celebrity tennis clientele inc; Tony Bennett, Patrick Stewart, Alan Parker, Richard Meier, David Geffen & Star Trek’s cast and creator Gene Roddenberry. Roddenberry opened a window at paramount and suggested writing an ‘Adventures of a Tennis Pro’ screenplay which becomes “King of America” in turn leading to Hollywood script doctor work on ‘Cheers’ (paramount) ‘Silk Stalkings‘ (Steven J. Cannell) and musicals ‘Jekyll & Hyde’, ‘Son of Santa Claus’.

Director. Award-winning play / festival short film; ‘ELEVATION;’ and play version and numerous projects in nyc (off Broadway) London, Edinburgh, Rome.

Lecturer. Seminars inc; ‘writing for page & screen’ also ‘symbolism in society’ in English, German & Italian at various colleges & universities.

Contracted as writer/associate producer of a world famous opera, translating from the original German. Records series of demos and assembled a-list cast/crew prospectus for financiers/investors.

Co-directs/performs 3 music theatre tours of UK, seaside rendezvous, 40’s standards and a rat pack tribute, featuring songs of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and George Gershwin.
